INDIANAPOLIS
– Two commercials profiling patients who received care at Franciscan St.
Francis Health have earned recognition in the 2012 Telly Awards.
The commercials
– “David’s Story” and “Jayme’s Story” – received Bronze awards in the Internet/On-Line
Video Health and Fitness category
The annual Telly Awards honors the
finest film and video productions, groundbreaking web commercials, videos and
films, and outstanding local, regional, and cable TV commercials and programs.
This year’s competition included 12,000 entries from all 50 states and five continents.
“David’s Story” details the
experience of a Bloomington, Ind., farmer who underwent heart valve surgery at Franciscan St. Francis Heart Center. Similarly, “Jayme’s
Story” is a testimonial ad, featuring an Indianapolis middle-school teacher who
was diagnosed and treated for colorectal cancer at Franciscan St. Francis Cancer
Center.
“We’re honored by this
recognition,” said Kelli Searles, director of marketing and community
relations. “The biggest honor, however, is the confidence patients place in the
care they receive at our three hospitals. We’re grateful they generously shared
their stories to inspire others.”
The commercials were
produced by Rich marc Productions of
Indianapolis, with consulting provided by Franciscan St. Francis marketing
managers and Neat hawk Dubuque
& Packet, a Richmond, Va.-based advertising agency.
