GREENWOOD, Ind. –
Barbara R. Sturm, MD, has joined Franciscan Physician Network Central Indiana Dermatology.
With a long-time
affiliation with Franciscan St. Francis Health, she previously operated an
independent practice, Dermatology of Stones Crossing, since 1991.
Dr. Sturm received
her undergraduate degree in biochemistry from Purdue University and earned her
medical degree at the Indiana University School of Medicine, where she later
completed a residency in dermatology.
She was named the
2009 Teacher of the Year for her leadership with the Franciscan St. Francis Family Medicine
Residency Program. Since
2002, she consistently has been among the “Top Docs” listed annually in the Indianapolis Monthly magazine.
Dr.
Sturm is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, Indiana State Medical
Association, American Medical Association, Johnson County Medical Society and
Indiana Dermatologic Society.
